This smoothie recipe is for you!
Very nutrient dense and even includes cancer fighting broccoli sprouts. There is only 1/2 cup of blueberries and a lemon, so it’s also low in sugar and well balanced with fat and protein!
1/2 cup blueberries
1 1/2 tablespoons of almond butter
2 scoops of raw vegan Sunwarrior protein
1 whole lemon peeled
1 thumb sized piece of ginger
1 large handful of kale
1 handful of broccoli sprouts
Water and ice to taste
*serves two
Very refreshing and absolutely delicious!
p.s. It may look like chocolate, but I can assure you it tastes like lemon and blueberries 😉
I will try this! If I don’t have Sunwarrior, can I just sub two scoops of my regular protein powder? I think it has 24 grams per scoop…
It depends on your needs. Maybe a little less of the one you have. The Sunwarrior has 15 grams per scoop.

What are broccoli sprouts?
They are micro sprouted greens. Even more nutritious than their larger counterpart.
Is the protein absolutely necessary? I’ve heard that you get enough through your diet.. And I think it’s pretty expensive.
