I also want to add in that its natural to eat a little less at dinner if you had a bigger lunch and there is nothing wrong with that. Doing that is intuitive. It’s when you restrict and eat less as a form of “punishment” along with a negative dialog in your head that I’m talking about.

Good advice & paradigm. As Moms we need to nurture ourselves more & fuel our bodies & well being.
How do we try to overcome emotional eating & eating in response to stress
Focus on what you can do that makes you truly feel good i.e. go for a walk, workout, deep breathing, food that nourishes you vs. sugar or alcohol.
Thx for your reply & advice Ciara. I know those things are good in the long run as opposed to the instant fix & comfort of emotional eating, but it’s challenging to change that behaviour. Thx for sharing that it requires a change in ones mindset which can help in changing. As Moms we devote everything to our children but have to come to realize that we have to nurture & take care of ourselves as well.
