Hello, I hate the scale and my dependence on it
I no longer own a scale. Once it became my obsession and my outlook on a day depended on the number I saw that particular morning, I knew it was time to do something about it. I took a hammer and smashed it while talking (yelling in my head) that it will no longer have a power over my feelings, thoughts, mood, self worth, etc. It was a beginning of something wonderful. Waking up in the morning, working out, eating breakfast and going about my day. The only time I check my weight is when I visit a doctor. I certainly don’t need a scale to tell me if In healthy, happy, beautiful, worthy, etc. I already know I am
Yes, if it’s ruling how you feel for the day, you should get rid of it! Good for you, anything you’re doing to feel great about yourself is awesome!
How many hours of cardio you should for loose fat
I have a question about food…in a pinch, sometimes I will be nitrite free, organic lunch meat such as turkey or ham from the deli. Is this still considered the “bad lunchmeat” since it is nitrite free and organic? I’ve been curious what your thoughts are on this? P.S. Love following you! So inspiring and informative!
I allow my kids the occasional organic all beef hot dog every now and then during the summer. I rarely buy processed meat, organic or not. I will eat fresh turkey or chicken sausages from my organic butcher, but they are just gound meat with spices, so very different than “lunch meats”.
